The Frempong Autism Charity Golf Tournament 2025

Dear Friends and Supporters,

It’s that time of year again, and we would love to have you join us for the 16th Annual Frempong’s

Autism Charity Golf Tournament, in support of PLAY (Physical Lifestyles for Autistic Youth)!

I founded PLAY in 2010 to create structured physical activity opportunities for children like my sons,

Junior and Josiah, who live with autism. Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how vital it is for children

with autism to have spaces where they feel welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

Autism remains one of the most widespread developmental conditions today more prevalent than

paediatric cancer, AIDS, and diabetes combined. Today, 1 in 66 children are diagnosed with autism, with

boys being four times more likely than girls to receive a diagnosis.

At PLAY, we believe that no child should be left on the sidelines. Through our weekly sessions, children

with autism build motor skills, develop social connections, and learn the basics of team sports like soccer

and basketball — all in a fun, supportive environment. The positive feedback from our families and

children over the years inspires us to keep growing and reaching more kids each season.
